The ERPSCC™ establishes a national standard for licensed clinicians of all levels to be identified and recognized for their advanced knowledge and commitment to supporting this unique population.
Our proprietary certification and training provide clinicians with recognition and continuing education that enhances professional practice.
“I’ve taken other certifications in the past, but did not find them valuable and did not pursue completion. THIS training is the real deal – worth every cent and worth keeping up with the cert. THANK You!”
Lauren, LCSW, CCTP
“The entire webinar was highly informative, comprehensive, and influential. I was most touched by the section addressing racial/ethnic and sexual diversity within law enforcement. The diversity section of the webinar (and the webinar, overall) forced me to address my own biases and blind spots when working with law enforcement. [ERPSCC] propelled me to further pursue opportunities in working with law enforcement agencies and extend my interest within Police and Public Safety Psychology.”
Zachary, Psy.D.
The Emergency Responder and Public Safety Clinician Certification (ERPSCC) is packed with educational content and certifies basic knowledge for all clinicians, master’s level and above. Course content is informed by the foundational and functional competencies outlined by the American Board of Police and Public Safety Psychology (ABPPSP). The ERPSCC provides foundational specialty knowledge and ongoing continuing education for all clinicians and providers. Obtaining board certification through the ABPPSP, for those licensed psychologists with experience in the field, is encouraged and considered the highest level of certification in the specialty. If you are interested in obtaining ABPPSP Board Specialization, please find more information here. The board welcomes your questions and has a mentorship program to assist in your endeavors toward specialty certification. Read more here.
Clinicians who are already American Board Certified in Police and Public Safety Psychology (ABPPSP) and/or who have earned Diplomate status with the Society for Police and Criminal Psychology (SPCP) only need to demonstrate proof of their status with these organizations to be acknowledged as an Emergency Responder and Public Safety Certified Clinician™ and listed on our national registry. There is an administrative fee of $75.00 and requirements must be met for maintenance of certification.
